Pasta asciutta relie mes origines, celles de mon grand-père immigré italien, de la peinture de la Renaissance italienne

avec laquelle j’ai grandi, de mon histoire cinématographique et mon amour pour la cuisine.

Les images (format A4) sont obtenues en cyanotype sur pasta di semola « Romita » (Foroni, Verona).

Le cyanotype est un procédé photosensible ferrique inventé par John Herschel (1792-1871) en 1842,

fruit de ses recherches menées en parallèle de ses voyages en Italie dédiés à l’étude des étoiles-doubles.

Pasta asciutta connects my origins, those of my Italian immigrant grandfather, the Italian Renaissance painting I grew up with, my cinematic history and my love for food.

The cyanotype is a ferric photosensitive process invented by John Herschel (1792 - 1871) in 1842,

the result of his research carried out in parallel with his trips to Italy dedicated to the study of double-stars.
